Walmart honey roasted cashews recalled for incorrect label, allergen hazard

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Walmart is recalling some of its cashews for potential allergens.

Some Great Value Honey Roasted Cashews are incorrectly labeled and could contain milk and coconut which could be a health hazard for people with an allergy. The recall applies to 8.25-ounce plastic cans that were sold at Walmart stores in 30 states, including New York.

The affected products have the UPC# 078742133348 with a best-by date of July 8, 2025.
