ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — A juvenile in Ithaca faces charges after a hit and run accident.
Police were called around six o’clock Saturday morning to East Seneca Street. The vehicle was found a short time later in a nearby parking lot but sped away when officers approached. Police say the driver returned and resisted arrest before being calmed down.
Alcohol, drugs, and a loaded handgun magazine were found in the vehicle, and investigators uncovered the driver is under the age of 18.
