Tompkins County assessments nearing end

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Properties in Tompkins County are undergoing an assessment. 

Legislative Chair Dan Klein tells WHCU it’s required by New York. 

If you believe your assessment is too high, Klein says you have two choices. 

You can reach the Department of Assessment at 607-274-5517 weekdays, 8 to 4:30. The assessments are almost complete.
