Tioga Couty legislators ‘fully support’ creating position of administrator, Sauerbrey says

OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tioga County is considering adopting an administrator. 

Legislative Chairwoman Martha Sauerbrey says it’s been a topic of discussion for years. 

The Legislature will vote on a local law in September to create the position, which Legislative Chair Martha Sauerbrey tells us would lead the county’s government. 

Sauerbrey adds the Legislature will begin searching for an administrator in January.
