Tioga County begins search for first-time administrator

OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — Tioga County is looking to hire its first county administrator 

A private firm will assist in recruiting for the position, which was established back in September through the adoption of a local law. Legislative Chair Martha Sauerbrey says it’s the right direction for the future of the county.

County officials have set the salary for as much as $125,000. Candidates are encouraged to apply by March 8.
