Reports of fake trash collection tags in Ithaca

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – The City of Ithaca is dealing with phony trash tags.

They’ve received multiple reports of fraudulent collection tags being found on garbage cans. The issue is currently being investigated. They remind residents to purchase tags from approved vendors.
