Owego board approves Aldi location

OWEGO, N.Y. (WHCU) — A grocery chain is expanding in Tioga County.

Aldi will build a store on State Route 17C in Owego. The town’s Zoning Board of Appeals approved the plans last week.

Aldi has other locations in Ithaca and Cortland.

In other local news, improvements are coming to the Ithaca Tompkins International Airport.
