ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — Ithaca High School is hosting an informational meeting this evening about some highway improvements.

The New York State Department of Transportation will share preliminary project plans for work next year on State Routes 13, 34, and 96. Some of the proposed work includes resurfacing three miles of road on Route 13 at Elmira Road all the way to the city line, updating traffic signals, and making sidewalk and pedestrian ramps ADA compliant. The project is currently scheduled to begin next spring.

Tonight’s meeting in room K128 at Ithaca High School goes from five to seven o’clock.
