Murder charge filed in fatal Apalachin domestic dispute

APALACHIN, N.Y. (WHCU) — Charges have now been filed in a deadly domestic dispute.

State Police say Michael Crandall is charged with second-degree murder in Tioga County. Last Monday, authorities were sent to a home on Debra Lee Drive in Apalachin. A man and woman inside were injured, and the woman later died.

The 36-year-old Crandall was released from the hospital and arraigned on Friday. The woman’s name has not been released.
