Ithaca Police narrows timeline in recent murder on Taughannock Boulevard

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Ithaca Police Department is still investigating last Tuesday’s homicide on Taughannock Boulevard. They’ve narrowed the timeline.

Investigators say 32-year-old Alan Godfrey was shot and killed between 12:40 and 12:45AM. Anyone who may have passed through the 200 block of Taughannock Boulevard or the 900 block of West State Street at that time is asked to contact Ithaca Police at 607-272-3245.

Few other details are available about Godfrey’s killing, including if police have any suspects.
