Hochul offers helps to Baltimore after bridge collapse

ALBANY, N.Y. (WHCU) — Governor Kathy Hochul says New York is ready to help Baltimore.

CBS News reports the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed overnight after a large ship struck the Baltimore bridge. In a tweet, Hochul says she has reached out to Maryland Governor Wes Moore to offer any assistance needed.

A search and rescue mission in the river under the bridge is now underway.
