Freeville FD unveils new service duty vehicle

FREEVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Freeville Fire Department is doing its part to reduce emergency response times.

The department’s new service duty truck 769 has arrived. The heavy-duty pickup will be used as a first-response vehicle and will be rotated between the chief officers in the department.

In related news, the Tompkins County Department of Emergency Response has begun hiring for its Rapid Medical Response Pilot Program.
