Finger Lakes Land Trust to host Pulitzer nominated author for discussion about lake health

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – The Finger Lakes Land Trust is hosting a discussion about how an element affects ecosystems.

The online event is sponsored in partnership with the Finger Lakes Institute and will feature Pulitzer Prize-nominated climate change author Dan Egan, who will talk about the impact of phosphorus on the environment, how it shapes agriculture, and its role in our daily lives.

The session will be moderated by Cornell Professor of Soil and Water Management Harold van Es and is open to anyone interested in the health of local lakes and waterways. It starts at 7:30 on Tuesday night. Visit fllt.org/events to learn more and register.
