Cornell professor to receive $875K from DOE

ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) — The Department of Energy is giving nearly $900,000 to a Cornell professor.

Laura Gunn teaches in the School of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The Cornell Chronicle reports she will receive $875,000 to research Rubisco – an enzyme involved in photosynthesis.

Gunn says her goal is to help plants be more efficient in the changing climate.
