Convenience store, senior housing under consideration in Cortland

CORTLAND, N.Y. (WHCU) — Cortland’s Planning Commission meets this evening to discuss several projects.

Among them is a possible convenience store on Groton Avenue. The group will also review plans for a senior housing facility on River Street.

The meeting begins at 5:15 PM at City Hall.

In other Cortland news, Mayor Scott Steve has declared an immediate hiring freeze.
