Message to the Cornell Men’s and Women’s Hockey teams: We love you, and you ARE #1!


Sadly, at this time the ECAC hockey season (semifinals and finals) has been shut down – both Cornell men’s and women’s hockey teams were ranked #1 (in most polls).  We will never know how far these teams would have gone.  They were INCREDIBLE and are #1 in our hearts.

It’s been tough year at Cornell as we have learned of the passing of beloved longtime Associate Head Athletic Trainer at Cornell, Jim Case, on Saturday. Our love and prayers go out to his family, friends, athletes and loved ones.

Stephen Colbert and son will co-write a ‘Lord of the Rings’ movie

Stephen Colbert, famous devotee to J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth, is co-writing a "Lord of the Rings" movie with his son. Warner Bros. announced early Wednesday that Colbert will script "The Lord of the Rings: Shadow of the Past" along with series veteran Philippa Boyens and Peter McGee, Colbert's son.
