Sound VIP Rules


Starting July 30, 2018 at 5:00 AM we will be starting our “Sound VIP” contest. This is an enter to win sweepstakes being held on both Z 95.5 and 96.7 The Vine. Listeners visit either www.z955.com or www.967thevine.com to enter once per day until the close of the contest. If an entrant wins at an earlier date they will not be eligible to win again in the contest. This contest will run until September 19, 2018 at 8:00 AM.

On the following dates we will be drawing winners at random:

  • August 10, 2018 – Pair of GA tickets
  • August 24, 2018 – Pair of GA tickets
  • September 7, 2018 – Pair of GA tickets

September 19, 2018 – Pair of VIP # 1 tickets

The first three winners on the following dates:

  • August 10, 2018
  • August 24, 2018
  • September 7, 2018

Will each receive a pair of 2-day General Admission passes to the Cayuga Sound Festival. Good for Friday September 21, 2018 and Saturday September 22, 2018.

Our final winner on:

  • September 19, 2018

Will receive a pair of Cayuga Sound VIP Package #1 passes. The VIP #1 will be good for:

  • Friday September 21, 2018 and Saturday September 22, 2018
  • Meet and Greet with X Ambassadors
  • Catered Dinner at Stewart Park hosted by the X Ambassadors
  • Special acoustic performance by X Ambassadors
  • Access to the VIP tent during the festival with specialty food/drink options available for purchase

Value:

Must be 18+ to enter. One entry per day per person. Submitting more than one entry per person per day will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participants entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the email address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

WFIZ/WYXL-HD2 contests are open to all eligible New York State and Pennsylvania State residents 21 or older have not won anything on WFIZ/WYXL-HD2 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WFIZ/WYXL-HD2, Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WFIX/WYXL-HD2 main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

No purchase necessary. Prize is not redeemable or transferable for cash. WFIZ/WYXL-HD2 sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WFIZ/WYXL-HD2 shall have no further responsibility if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Winner responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included with the prize and are the sole responsibility of the winner.

This contest is being run concurrently and simultaneously in the Ithaca New York are between radio stations associated with the Cayuga Radio Group and listeners of said stations will be competing against each other for the same prize. These rules supersede the rules found on the SecondStreet platform.
